2026 Uranium Recovery Workshop

May 28 - May 29

The National Mining Association’s (NMA) Uranium Recovery Workshop (URW) is scheduled for May 28-29, at the Hilton Denver City Center.

The NMA’s URW provides an opportunity for representatives from the NMA, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the U.S. Department of Energy, uranium recovery licensees and other stakeholders, to connect regarding uranium recovery technical and regulatory issues. A workshop agenda will be available soon but topics will include: regulatory and policy updates from NRC and agreement states; the future of the linear no-threshold model and as low as reasonably achievable standard; uranium markets; complex site closures; uranium recovery optimization and more.

Online registration for URW 2026 is open until Tuesday, May 26.The registration fee includes: two continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, meeting room usage, audiovisual equipment and meeting materials.

NMA Member and Government Employee Rate: $150.00
Non-Member Rate: $300.00

Hotel Reservations

The NMA has reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the Hilton Denver City Center (1701 California St) for URW attendees. Reservations should be made no later than Monday, April 27, 2026. Rooms are available on a first-come-first-served basis, or until the block is full. After the April 27 cut-off date, or once the block is full, reservations are subject to hotel availability.
